Would Madara and Hashirama Eating Devil Fruits Feel Out of Place?

Some council members in the group brought up whether Madara Uchiha and Hashirama Senju would eat Devil Fruits.

But I couldn't give an answer for now, because I was worried that making them ability users would affect everyone's existing impression of these two characters.
