"World Gate!"
Inside a dimly lit cell surrounded by stone walls and carrying a faint, strange odor.
Under the shocked gazes of the Space Pirates, Brimir pressed one hand against the other man's forehead while lightly waving the wand in his other hand.
At once, a ball of white light appeared out of thin air, illuminating the entire cell with an unusually bright glow.
Very soon, the white light condensed into a round spatial gate.
Standing behind Brimir, Redfield, Columbus, Magellan, and the others immediately saw the scene within the "gate."
Beams of light filtered through dense branches, cutting across the air and falling upon the ground blanketed in layers of leaves.
On the other side appeared to be a quiet forest.
Yet the light, as well as the leaves above and below, were all golden yellow.
"It looks a lot like ginkgo trees. No, they should be ginkgo trees!"
Having reached that conclusion, Redfield relaxed slightly.
At the very least, the ecological environment on the other side looked normal.
And there did not seem to be any other lifeforms near the World Gate, which was also a good thing.
"Go in."
Redfield turned and instructed the five CP5 members waiting quietly outside the gate.
"Yes!"
Stein Jay, the captain of the squad, immediately answered respectfully.
He first put on a fully enclosed tactical helmet that was entirely black, then activated the Justice Detector on his left arm.
Everything was ready.
Captain Jay was the first to step through the World Gate, vanishing from the cell and appearing on another planet.
The two places were separated by an unknown number of light-years in the universe.
Yet through the miraculous effect of spatial transportation, one could arrive in an instant.
