Most classes were in session at the moment, making the corridors exceptionally quiet.
Konan, who had just entered sixth grade this year, could hear the echo of her own footsteps with every step she took.
Her teacher had just told her to visit the principal's office.
"Konan?"
Just as Konan was about to step onto the top floor, a familiar voice suddenly came from behind her.
"Just as I thought, I figured you'd be called over too." Konan turned and smiled at Yahiko.
Yahiko climbed the stairs to her side. "Yeah, the resources Nagato exchanged for us must have arrived."
"Looking forward to it?"
"Of course." Yahiko replied in a deep voice. "I hope it won't disappoint. I have to become strong enough to protect you two—and even the Shinobi World!"
The two chatted as they walked, soon arriving outside the principal's office. Konan then gently knocked a few times.
"Come in."
When the voice came from inside, Yahiko pushed open the door first.
At first glance, he saw the principal seated in his chair, along with two black-clad men in suits and ties.
Besides them, two exquisite wooden boxes sat on the desk.
One of the boxes had a black leather notebook placed on top of it, its cover printed with a white Soaring Dragon Hoof emblem that was particularly eye-catching.
"Hello, Principal!"
Since they did not know the others, Yahiko and Konan could only greet the principal.
"Hello, hello, welcome."
The principal was very cordial as he cheerfully introduced them.
"These two are officials from the Holy Land Treasury: Officer Mikita and Officer Mengsk."
"Hello!"
Yahiko and Konan politely greeted them.
"Yes, we came here this time mainly to bring you an epic-grade secret treasure."
