People wore relatively light clothing, mostly dresses, trench coats, and jeans.
This was the intersection of Northern Avenue and Royal Avenue.
Traffic flowed endlessly along the broad roads, packed with people and vehicles.
Vehicles of every brand and color lined up in long queues, waiting or moving forward according to the traffic lights ahead.
The pink double-decker buses were particularly eye-catching.
They added a touch of color to the already noisy, bustling surroundings.
Several traffic police officers in bright yellow reflective safety vests stood at either end, scanning back and forth.
From time to time, they used hand signals to caution impatient drivers.
This was the city center.
There were many malls, markets, hotels, plazas, universities, churches, restaurants, and libraries nearby.
There was even a parking lot right beside the intersection, making the area exceptionally crowded with both people and vehicles.
It could be called the most prosperous part of the city.
However.
Just as everything proceeded normally.
Specks of starlight suddenly gathered out of thin air in the middle of the intersecting lanes, rapidly forming a brilliant ball of light.
"What the f—"
On Northern Avenue, a middle-aged driver with sandy brown hair and blue eyes had just seen the light turn green and hit the gas.
Who would have thought that such a sight would appear before him?
In his shock, he instinctively jerked the steering wheel.
The front of his car immediately veered toward the barbershop on the left.
Then.
The vehicles behind him, which had started moving, also panicked when they saw the light sphere appear from nowhere.
They had no desire to come into contact with that bizarre ball of light either.
