Oda Confirmed the Original Timeline Was Marine Calendar 1541

For the past decade or so, including this book,

all One Piece fanfiction on the market had treated the year Luffy set sail as either 1518 or 1520, with the two-year timeskip falling in 1520 or 1522.

This book used the latter.

However, Oda's latest information clearly stated that the two-year timeskip was in 1541, meaning Luffy set sail in 1539.

This was probably a timeline betrayal aimed at all One Piece fanfiction.

However, this book had already reached nearly 6.4 million words, so it could not be changed.

I could only continue writing according to the current timeline.
