To celebrate Kanae Kocho's revival, Kagaya Ubuyashiki and Amane had specially prepared a lavish dinner.
They invited Kanae, Shinobu Kocho, Nezuko, Kanao, Tanjiro, Zenitsu Agatsuma, and Giyu Tomioka to gather.
Even Inosuke Hashibira, who was usually busy with work, made time to bring his wife, Aoi Kanzaki, over.
Though, because bureau affairs were so demanding, he stayed only two hours before leaving in a hurry.
Still, he left Aoi Kanzaki behind, letting her, newly pregnant, spend more time with everyone.
Also present were Shinjuro Rengoku and his son, Senjuro Rengoku.
As well as Kiriya Ubuyashiki, who was studying at the Yin-Yang Bureau.
After reuniting following a long separation, and after experiencing the miracle of parting through life and death only to meet again, everyone naturally had endless things to talk about.
The atmosphere at the banquet was warm and lively. Everyone raised cups, exchanged toasts, and reminisced about the past.
The gathering went on until two or three in the morning before finally ending, with everyone still wanting more.
By now, it was already past nine in the morning.
After washing up, everyone gathered once more in the spacious, bright Japanese-style dining room to enjoy an exquisite breakfast together.
The long, low table was filled with golden-grilled saury dripping with oil, steaming tofu miso soup, soft and tender thick omelets, and glistening white rice.
The atmosphere inside remained harmonious.
Tanjiro and Zenitsu, now relatives by marriage, bickered from time to time over little things.
It made Nezuko and Kanao, both pregnant, cover their mouths and laugh softly.
Kagaya Ubuyashiki, who had always preferred peace and quiet, now sat at the head seat, holding a teacup with a gentle smile on his face.
