Beneath the vast blue sky, cries of despair, terror, and rage echoed constantly through the ocean of iridescent bubbles shimmering in the sunlight.

Looking below.

Streams of crimson blood rained down through the gaps between the bubbles.

Headless armored bodies and crimson dragon corpses, along with grotesque human and dragon heads, fell like garbage toward the ground.

The fire dragon knights had been driven to the brink. No longer caring whether they might hurt their own comrades, they frantically unleashed elemental magic in every direction.

Jets of flame, violent whirlwinds, and sharp ice spikes wreaked havoc among the bubbles.

Yet no matter what they did, the bubbles seemed endless. Even if magic temporarily blasted open a gap, it was immediately filled by more bubbles.

It was not as though no one had thought of charging out from above or below.

But they were either cut down by incoming green wind blades or unlucky enough to be blasted away by their allies' magic.

Even the few lucky ones who reached the edge of the bubble sea and saw the empty sky beyond still inexplicably lost all strength, watching in despair as the solid earth drew ever closer.

They did possess magic that could make people or objects float.
