Luo Hong led the group toward Black Peak under a shroud of Corpse Qi, but winged corpse monsters discovered them near the rift valleys and launched a massive attack. As an enormous creature began emerging from a rift, Luo Hong stayed behind to protect Han Shiquan and Han Yunzhi while Han Li pursued Tianhen and the others.

• Luo Hong concealed the group with Corpse Qi released by his Silver Armored Corpses, and they traveled toward Black Peak for roughly three days.
• Near Black Peak, Han Li spotted winged corpse monsters in the rifts, whose explosive bone spears destroyed most of Luo Hong's Silver Armored Corpses and exposed the group.
• Countless Flying Corpses swarmed the cultivators as a huge creature stirred beneath a rift; Qingyang and Xuansha fled ahead, followed by Tianhen, while Han Shiquan and Han Yunzhi were surrounded.
• Luo Hong used the Scolding Eye Divine Light to rescue Han Shiquan and Han Yunzhi, then told Han Li to pursue Tianhen and the others while he stayed behind.

Above the Blood Sea, Old Demon Qingyang and Old Monster Tianhen faced two Blood Armored Skeletons serving Blood Yin, and a fight began.

• Luo Hong treated Han Li’s severe injuries while Yuan Yao guarded them, and Yan Jing, Han Yunzhi, and Zhen Lan arrived.

After Qingyang and the now-mindless Tianhen were sent to the Blood Sea Grand Array, Luo Hong and Han Li arrived as the array began to change.

• Old Monster Tianhen rejected Blood Yin’s offer of an Indestructible Body, destroyed the Blood Leech on his neck, and used his Essence Absorbing Talisman to withstand attacks while forming a Wrathful Vajra Dharma Image.
• Tianhen activated the altar’s Buddhist sealing flames, which burned Blood Yin, but Blood Yin summoned nine bolts of Blood Lightning and struck Tianhen down.

Luo Hong drew them away with a trap of his own, leaving them caught in his Five Elements Reversal Formation while Han Li and Yuan Yao went to help Yan Jing activate the Buddhist Forbidden Art.

• Blood Yin revealed how Yin Rakshasa had seized Blood Rakshasa's body and ordered two Blood Armored Skeletons to kill the cultivator disrupting the array.
• Han Li told Luo Hong that he had sabotaged the formation, then departed to rendezvous with Yuan Yao and protect Yan Jing.
