"Man?"
Hearing William's words, Serena became even more puzzled. "What man?"
"You don't need to know." William raised his hand and lightly tapped the top of Serena's head. "You only need to know that once we awaken him, we'll be able to return to the Solar System."
William said this because he remembered that, according to the version 16 setting, Doom Slayer possessed the ability to travel through time, space, and dimensions.
After receiving the Seraph's help, Doom Slayer gained the power of every demon he killed.
Back then, Doom Slayer had nearly slaughtered all of Hell. If the Hell Priests had not sealed Doom Slayer away, the demons of that dimension would truly have been living in "Hell."
As for the protagonist getting injured and bleeding in the DOOM games, and slaughtering demons with ammunition-based weapons, that was purely for game balance.
Of course, players preferred to joke that Doom Slayer chose weapons with lower efficiency and destructive power because he was afraid of killing all the demons.
Regardless, what William valued was Doom Slayer's ability to "travel across dimensions."
Thinking of this, William could not help sighing. "I hope he can provide some help."
"Hm?" Serena tilted her head slightly, unaware of what her boss was worrying about.
"It's nothing." William returned to his usual calm demeanor and continued asking:
"Serena, can you detect how many demons are beside those buildings?"
"Yes." Serena put away her doubts as well.
She then marked the locations of those buildings on the Panoramic screen, along with the number of demons surrounding each one.
"Hum..."
William narrowed his eyes as he studied the Coordinates. Finally, he spotted the place with the fewest demons, pointed at it, and said in a low voice:
"Serena, we're going there. Mark it as 'Kadinger Cathedral.'"
"Yes."
