After William led his team in escorting that "Milky White Fat" brain bug back to the base, Arachnid Swarm from nearly the entire P Star launched a frenzied assault on Umbrella's base and prisoner camp.
But...
Umbrella was able to run rampant across P Star because of its high-tech weapons and equipment.
Therefore, the forward Supply Base and prisoner camp were both equipped with several Fusion Reactors, as well as expensive, high-output AT Energy Shields.
Of course, everyone at Umbrella, including the boss, had watched the classic Starship Troopers 1 and knew full well how capable the bugs were at digging underground.
The foundations beneath the two large facilities were reinforced with titanium-tantalum composite armor to defend against the possibility of the bugs suddenly digging into the center of the bases.
Thus, even when facing the bugs from the entire P Star, Umbrella's employees and prisoners could remain safe and sound.
Not to mention that there was an entire captured Federation Fleet in the sky, along with Nova and Xia, those two "female powerhouses."
Even if the Arachnid Swarm sent out a giant Plasma Bug, its attacks would still be useless against Umbrella.
And so it went.
While the base and prisoner camp were enduring the assault of P Star's bug swarm, William led Serena, Nova, Rico, and the others in interrogating the two Federation generals first.
