Chapter Summaries

Arthur told Rael that Umbrella’s fleet came from Terra and sought Nova Imperium’s cooperation to dominate the Milky Way. He asked Gamora to help him find Thanos, claiming he wanted to kill him, and Rael offered to consider cooperation if Umbrella eliminated the threat.

• Arthur revealed that his fleet belonged to Umbrella, a corporation from Terra, and said Umbrella wanted to integrate the Milky Way through cooperation with Nova Imperium.
• Arthur assured Yondo that Umbrella had no plans to harm Quill.
• Gamora asked about the Power Stone and how to free Nebula, and Arthur said she only needed to help him find Thanos.
• Arthur said he wanted to kill Thanos, and Heros demonstrated that he could contain the Power Stone’s force.

After reaching a preliminary cooperation agreement with Rael, Arthur and William began bringing the Nova Imperium under Umbrella’s control. Arthur then led the Blood Ravens Fleet through a portal toward a star system one hundred million light-years away, where Thanos was preparing to attack Vodas.

• Arthur secured a cooperation agreement and Confidentiality Agreement from Rael, Yondo, Quill, and the others, then learned Thanos’s location from Gamora and Nebula.
• William arrived on Xandar with Umbrella’s forces and ordered Serena, Tina, Prus, and the Ghost Agents to infiltrate the Nova Imperium and force its officials and officers to sign the Confidentiality Agreement.

Arthur’s Blood Ravens Fleet emerged near Vodas Planet and found Thanos’s Sanctuary II and its escort ships. As Arthur prepared to confront Thanos on the surface, Macha ordered the fleet to open fire on the enemy ships.

• Macha guided the Blood Ravens Fleet through a portal spanning hundreds of millions of light-years, and Cortana scanned the Vodas System and identified Vodas Planet.
• Arthur ordered Macha to warp the fleet into Vodas Planet’s low orbit, where they spotted the desert world and Thanos’s Sanctuary II with its escort fleet.

Mylon defeated Thanos in a brutal hand-to-hand fight, and Arthur ordered Umbrella’s forces to wipe out the remaining enemy troops on Vodas Star. After returning to Xandar, Umbrella prepared to confront the defiant Sovreign Race.

• Umbrella deployed sixteen god bodies around the palace, frightening the Sovreign people and ending their anti-aircraft fire.
• Twelve Freedom and Assault MS landed outside the palace as John, Kolax, William, Arthur, Heros, and twenty bodyguards disembarked.

William forced Ayesha to accept Sovereign’s vassalage to Umbrella, then prepared to return to Hafa while leaving Arthur in charge of conquering this universe. As the family discussed their coming separation, William told Arthur to return to the Main Universe with Carl after stabilizing the Milky Way.

• William gave Ayesha the choice of voluntarily signing Sovereign over as an Umbrella vassal or having John and Kolax force her to sign, and she agreed to surrender sovereignty.
