Chapter Summaries

Mylon defeated Soton with his Kinetic Sword, then explained to Fanxing that Fleet Seven was friendly after it drove Morgana away. Fanxing collapsed from her injuries, and Mylon invited Liu Chuang and the others to return to the fleet aboard the Goddess of Victory.

• Mylon overwhelmed Soton, broke his double-bladed sword, and cut him in half, but Soton remained conscious and pleaded for surrender.
• Fanxing explained that Soton's Third Generation Body could recover from being cut apart, and Mylon wondered whether his Astartes could gain the same durability.
• A Terminator Sergeant reported that Bolter Rounds needed a yield equivalent to one kilogram of TNT to neutralize the enemy targets, while Fanxing identified them as First Generation demon warriors and warned that Morgana had a Fourth Generation Body.
• Morgana escaped through a wormhole as Fleet Seven appeared in the sky, and Fanxing prepared to stay behind and buy the others time.
• Mylon told Fanxing that Fleet Seven was an allied force, caught her as she collapsed, and introduced himself to Liu Chuang as a primarch of the Umbrella Imperial Guard Legion.

After Mylon returned to the Goddess of Victory with Fanxing and the others, Morgana learned that an unknown fleet had appeared above Earth and that one of its soldiers had killed Soton. Arthur contacted Demon One, introduced himself as Umbrella Fleet Seven’s commander, and revealed that he was human from Earth Civilization.

• Mylon carried the unconscious Fanxing back to the Goddess of Victory, while Liu Chuang, Wei Lan, and Rui Mengmeng returned with the Terminators and one of them retrieved Mylon’s bolter.
• Morgana demanded answers about Soton’s death and the fleet above Earth, and a demon reported that the weapon that cut Soton apart reached a temperature of fifteen million degrees.
• Zola Bo reported that Demon One’s location had been exposed and its communications breached, and Arthur appeared in a holographic call.
• Arthur introduced himself as Major General Arthur Russell, commander-in-chief of Umbrella’s Fleet Seven, and rejected Morgana’s offer to divide Earth and its humans.
• Arthur told Morgana that he was human, from Earth Civilization.

Arthur learned about the Super God Academy and ordered Fleet Seven to force Morgana’s Demon One out of the Milky Way, while keeping the ship under close watch. He then prepared to meet Liu Chuang, Rui Mengmeng, and Wei Lan as the wounded angel Fanxing remained unconscious but stable.

• Arthur gave Morgana the choice to leave the Milky Way or be forced out, and she ordered Demon One to flee through a wormhole.
• Jerome’s eleven Spartan divine bodies surrounded Demon One and prepared to fire, but the vessel escaped before the squad attacked.

• The Goddess of Victory emerged near the Taotie homeworld and hovered above its capital, plunging the city into darkness.
• Arthur told the Taotie General that Earth had come to annihilate the Taotie Civilization, and mocked the General’s threat to use an antimatter bomb.
• After receiving approval from the chairman, Arthur ordered Artemis to launch a Dark Matter Bomb at the Taotie star.
• The bomb erased the star, leaving the Taotie homeworld adrift, and Arthur explained the planet’s fate to the Taotie General.

• Arthur told Heros that an Evil God had raped and killed countless Female Angels, angering Heros, while Artemis asked where Arthur had learned about the Evil God and the Lieyang Civilization.
• Fanxing awakened in the medical area and questioned the Imperial Guard Astartes about Earth, the Nuoxing God of War, the Nuoxing Blade, and the other Angel sisters.

• Fanxing read Mylon’s intelligence and giggled at his record of mishaps before Arthur, Heros, and Mylon entered the recovery pod.

Arthur asked Fanxing to help Umbrella negotiate an alliance with the angels stationed near North Star, and she reluctantly agreed. As Mylon showed Fanxing around the flagship, Arthur secretly arranged to have her sign a Confidentiality Agreement and revealed his suspicions about her interest in Mylon.

• Fanxing told Arthur that angels Leng, Yitian, Luoluan, and Lingxi were likely still guarding North Star, and she agreed to help him speak with them.

Arthur prepared to meet Huaxia’s leaders in North Star while Jing Nan and Heros organized a search for Carl’s Void Warriors. After two days of chaos on Earth, the group arrived at a military camp, where Lian Feng recognized Liu Chuang, Rui Mengmeng, and the others.

• Arthur warned Heros that Morgana might gather allies and that Hua Ye’s male angels and their Void technology posed a serious threat.
• Liu Chuang and Rui Mengmeng brought Qilin, Lena, the unconscious Ge Xiaolun, and Huaxia personnel aboard the Goddess of Victory, where Ge Xiaolun was placed in a recuperation pod.

Lian Feng learned about Umbrella and began arranging cooperation with Arthur, while four angels worried about Queen Keisha’s fall and Yan’s disappearance. The angels looked toward North Star, where Yan’s fate remained unknown.

• Liu Chuang reunited with Lian Feng and told her that Morgana had abducted Yu Qin during the attack on the Juxia.
• Arthur introduced himself to Lian Feng, and Liu Chuang credited him with saving their group from the demons.
• At negotiations, Lian Feng learned about parallel universes and Fleet Seven’s defeat of the Taotie; Umbrella offered Hua Xia a large fleet and weapons technology, subject to a confidentiality agreement.

• Ruoning revealed that an unknown god and its fleet had destroyed the Taotie forces and homeworld, and that the fleet was within Earth's gravitational range.
• Ruoning proposed gathering the scattered angels to fight the unknown civilization, but Leng refused, citing Queen Kesha's decree that Yan would govern the angels.
• Leng told Yitian, Luoluan, and Lingxi to flee and seek the Huaxia soldiers' protection, but Ruoning fired an arrow at Lingxi as they tried to escape.
• Mylon intercepted Ruoning's arrow with his Power Armor shield, and Fanxing reunited with Leng and the other angels.
• Leng charged Ruoning, but Ruoning quickly gained the advantage in their sword fight.
• Mylon ordered the Imperial Guard Terminators to target Ruoning with Bolter Rounds set to a one-ton TNT yield.

Mylon and the Terminators intervened when Ruoning attacked Leng and the other angels, driving Ruoning off with their firepower and close-combat strength. Ruoning escaped through a wormhole after warning the angels that Hua Ye would return with an army of millions.

• The Terminators bombarded Ruoning with bolter fire, giving Leng, Fanxing, Yitian, Luoluan, and Lingxi time to retreat into the air.
• Fanxing explained that Mylon and the Astartes came from another universe, and she believed Mylon could defeat Ruoning.
• Mylon stopped firing after Ruoning disappeared from his scanner, then dodged her wormhole ambush and counterattacked with his Kinetic Sword.
• The twelve Terminators charged Ruoning, but she escaped through a wormhole and reappeared in the sky.

Mylon brought Leng and the other angels to the Goddess of Victory after their confrontation, while Arthur and Huaxia’s leaders finalized an alliance agreement. Meanwhile, the first two million Templar Defenders arrived in the Super God Academy universe and began establishing communications for Earth.

• Leng and the other angels tried to use the Eye of Insight on Mylon and the Terminators, but their artificial intelligences forced the angels out of the system.
• Mylon admitted that Fleet Seven had destroyed the Taotie Civilization, and Leng challenged Umbrella’s justice while threatening to fight him.
• Leng demanded to meet Mylon’s commander, so Mylon took the angels to the Goddess of Victory to wait for Arthur.
• Arthur and Huaxia’s senior officials finalized an agreement for Umbrella to provide aid and train Huaxia.

Leng and the other angel warriors discussed Hua Ye’s return and whether the weakened Justice Order should cooperate with Umbrella. Arthur arrived and proposed that the angels join Earth and humanity in destroying Hua Ye’s Heavenly Palace Order and Death God Carl, leaving them to decide whether to accept.

• Lingxi asked Leng about Hua Ye and the Heavenly Palace Order, and Leng explained that Hua Ye had ruled the male angels before Keisha’s Justice Order.
• Lingxi worried about the scattered angel sisters, while Yitian said she was ready to fight to the death for justice.

On August 5, 2015, Newborn Demons and Morgana’s followers drove Paris toward collapse as French forces struggled to defend the government. France’s leaders had secretly moved to a bunker beneath the Louvre, where the French Foreign Legion waited as the country’s strongest combat force.

• Riots and demon attacks spread across Paris as Morgana’s followers and Newborn Demons charged police cordons.
• French soldiers, GIGN, and armored vehicles fought back near the City Hall and Élysée Palace, but the demons proved difficult to stop.
• France’s leaders secretly transferred to the bunker beneath the Louvre while elite forces drew the attackers’ attention.
• Gunfire approached the darkened Louvre, where the French Foreign Legion stood ready with HK- and FN-series weapons.

The Second Parachute Regiment struggled to defend the Louvre against a massive attack by Newborn Demons until Umbrella’s Berserkers arrived in Drop Pods and turned the battle around. With the demons wiped out, the surviving paratroopers watched the newcomers and called it “damn exorcism.”

• A six-man sniper team and the Second Parachute Regiment defended the Louvre as nearly a thousand Newborn Demons attacked Paris.
• The demons breached the regiment’s outer defenses, killed most of the sniper teams, and reduced the defenders to roughly three hundred soldiers.
• Hundreds of Drop Pods crashed into central Paris, including the Louvre, and Umbrella’s Berserkers emerged and warned the paratroopers to stay out of the fight.
• The Berserkers slaughtered the ground-based demons with Energy Swords while their shields withstood gunfire from demons in the sky.
