Chapter Summaries

Umbrella took control of Brain Company and reshaped society in the Orphnoch universe, protecting surviving humans while promoting coexistence between humans and Orphnoch. By November, the new order was taking hold, while Umbrella continued studying the King of Orphnoch and developing Rider Belt technology.

• Evreny helped Yuji Kiba, Yuka Nagata, Naoya Kaitou, and other benevolent Orphnoch take over Brain Company, while Umbrella seized its documents and sent staff and AIs to oversee the transition.
• Evreny dispatched Ghost Agents to arrest Kusaka Hayato and bring him and the Kaiser Belt to the Main Universe, where the company classified him as D-Class personnel and sent him to The Hive.
• Umbrella reorganized Brain Company, found more than sixty thousand surviving humans, and equipped six thousand with modified Leo Belts to defend themselves.
• Umbrella gathered humans and Orphnoch allies in Minato Ward under the protection of Leo Soldiers and the World Eaters Legion, while restricting which Orphnoch could travel through the transit passage.
• Brain Company and Umbrella promoted human-Orphnoch coexistence, using Inui Takumi and Mari Sonoda as a scripted model couple whose popularity helped reduce hostility between the two groups.

On November 12, 2065, William visited the Hive’s weapons sector to inspect Upsilon, Umbrella’s new Photon Blood belt, and tried it on himself. After testing its enhancements and reverting to normal, he asked Serena if she wanted to transform too.

• William broke free of Caesar’s light net and used Upsilon’s Spear to destroy every T-107 Tyrant.

• Serena told William that a rift had appeared above Mars’s artificial desert, and he ordered an expedition to investigate and search for the missing muscular man, the Doom Slayer.
• William, Serena, Heroson, Angel Leng, Queen, and Umbrella’s forces traveled to Mars and assembled near the rift.
• Under Robert, John, Mylon, and Corax, 100,000 Astartes and 300,000 Elite Veterans entered Hell to hunt demons, find the Doom Slayer, and determine how to close the rift.

Queen Mek ordered the demons to stop Umbrella’s advance and the Meks to open a rift back to Paradise, while the Hell Priests summoned the Titan Demon. In the ruined capital, William and Serena discovered a passage toward the planet’s core, where the Titan emerged and William prepared to destroy it in one shot.

• Queen Mek ordered the Hell Priests to close the rift and gather the demons, while the Meks prepared a passage back to Paradise to take the Doom Slayer away.
• After Queen Mek left, the Hell Priests directed the remaining demons to resist Umbrella and prepared to summon the Titan Demon.

William and his forces destroyed the Titan Demon in the Ring of Nul’s capital ruins, then followed Serena’s discovery of an energy source beneath the planet’s core. They teleported to the core palace, where the Terminators cleared the plaza of Guardian Greater Demons.

• William charged his shotgun and ordered the honor guards and Astartes to fire, destroying the Titan Demon in the capital ruins.
• Serena detected massive energy transmissions beneath the Ring of Nul’s core, and William ordered Robert, Kolax, John, and Mylon to assist with the next steps.
• William and Serena teleported with John, Mylon, and the honor guards to the entrance of the Ring of Nul’s core palace.
• The Terminators killed the Guardian Greater Demons guarding the palace plaza within thirty seconds.

William and the Astartes stormed the palace of the Ring of Nul, defeated its demon defenders, and forced three Hell Priests to open a passage to the Mek Clan’s settlement. The Engineering Team built a temporary teleportation hub at the palace, leaving the invasion ready to continue.

• Serena, William, John, Mylon, and the Astartes fought their way through the palace as the Hell Guards fled in terror.
• William and his allies reached Queen Mek’s former meeting hall, where three Hell Priests begged for their lives.
