The principle behind killing Extinction Beasts, put simply, was that under firepower of an absolutely overwhelming caliber, no living thing could survive.
Of course, freaks like Arthur, who possessed seventeen Eternal One privileges, and William, who could "archive" himself three times, were exceptions.
In the Main Universe, Extinction Beasts ranked at most somewhere between Euclid and Keter as far as Umbrella was concerned. They were simply no match for the Honor Guard and Shark Squad.
Yet Arthur, standing beside the Hunter convoy, had his arms crossed over his chest. His brow was tightly furrowed beneath his mask as he opened communications and warned the Honor Guard and Shark Squad, "Everyone, conserve your ammunition. Don't waste it all. Honor Guard, use your Thunder Halberds whenever possible. Shark Squad, attack with your melee weapons."
After receiving Arthur's warning, the Honor Guard and Shark Squad, who had been killing with abandon, finally realized that they had no fleet support. Once they ran out of ammunition, it would really be gone.
"Yes!"
After replying in the communications channel one after another, the Honor Guard returned their bolters to the magnetic mount at their lower backs. With their right hands, they operated their Thunder Halberds to slash and decapitate, while their left fists taught the Serpent Dogs what humanity's righteous fists were.
As for the Shark Squad's reaction, it looked even more aggressive than the Honor Guard's.
Under Rosen's leadership, the Shark Squad hung their firearms on their Mechanical Skeletons, then drew the Vibration Sabers from the sheaths on their calves or removed the "hilts" hanging from their waists.
"Vrrrr—!" The piercing sound of the Vibration Sabers rang across the battlefield.
The Vibration Saber's blade was forty-five centimeters long. Through high-frequency vibration, it could even cut through a main battle tank's armor.
