"Master."
Seeing the woman walk over from behind Jiang Lin, the little boy hurried forward as well, holding his sword and bowing in greeting. His movements were somewhat awkward, like a toddler learning to walk.
The two children had probably only been practicing swordsmanship for a short time, so they were merely imitating others when they saluted.
"Greetings, Miss."
Jiang Lin clasped his hands and bowed to the woman, who had left a somewhat deep impression on him.
"Wang Yingxin greets Young Master Jiang."
The woman returned the salute with her sword in her arms, her tone carrying the usual courtesy.
Straightening up, Jiang Lin sized up the woman before him.
She looked to be twenty-seven or twenty-eight, with delicate features. The sword qi surrounding her was pure and clear, giving her the spirited bearing of a female swordsman.
Jiang Lin said, "Are these two children Miss Wang's disciples?"
"Indeed." The young woman named Wang Yingxin nodded. "I encountered them on the street yesterday. Both possessed sword bones, so I had the thought of taking them as disciples."
"I see." Jiang Lin nodded. "Is Miss Wang responsible for the Ninth Section of the Great Wall?"
By rights, once the ten sections of the Great Wall had been assigned among the people, everyone would go to their new residence.
Since Wang Yingxin had appeared here, it meant she was going to guard the Ninth Section of the Great Wall.
"Yes." Wang Yingxin nodded. "I only moved in yesterday. I live next door to Young Master Jiang."
"Next door?" Jiang Lin glanced at the courtyard beside his own and indeed found that the courtyard, which had originally been unlocked, now had a lock added to it.
"If Miss Wang needs any help, you can come find me." Jiang Lin cupped his hands.
