Lu Ming claimed the Heaven Weeping Sword, broke through to the Heavenly Human Realm, and returned to the Nine Provinces, where he strengthened Wuji Sect and reunited with old acquaintances. The arc left him defending the Zhu Family against King Mingdu after Qiu Yi was accused of a crime.
Lu Ming rescued Jing Junmeng, strengthened his sword and saber techniques, and confronted the Demon Alliance over its elders’ attack. After testing his strength against King Dragon Elephant, he left Qingqiu Mountain with Jing Junmeng, where the Great Wheel Bright Venerable exposed the Holy Lord and Sage Venerable Qianyuan challenged him.
The Nine Provinces World united to prepare for the Evil Race invasion, and Lu Ming led its defenders through a devastating battle against the invading army. The Nine Provinces forces won after Evil Emperor Bai Ling awakened and killed the enemy commander, while Lu Ming stayed behind to protect the survivors.
Lu Ming defeated Soul Grudge Evil Venerable and drove back the Evil Race, then left the Nine Provinces World with Xin Yuan to seek the Endless Realm. An attack sent him into the Great Void Abyss, where he fell into a distant land and was found by Yiyue’s tribe.
Lu Ming healed his injuries, escaped the corrupted Lost World, and entered the Endless Realm under the false name Ye Ze. After attaining the Dao of Space Law and gathering resources, he joined Fairy Liuli’s expedition to retrieve a rare spiritual medicine.
Lu Ming uncovered the Heavenly Emperor’s inheritance, strengthened his Destruction Sword Dao, and became powerful enough to challenge an Evil Emperor. He entered the Heavenly God Trial as Ye Ze, where his rapid climb drew the Human Race’s attention as Huang Daoqi and Zhao Kongming raced for the lead.
Lu Ming advanced his swordsmanship while climbing the tournament rankings, defeating powerful Earth Supreme prodigies including the Evil Young Master and Tun Lingzi. The battles continued at the summit, where Zuo Subai defeated Xiang Shaojun and Lu Ming later humiliated Long Ju.
Lu Ming fought his way to a shared first place with Huang Daoqi, then returned to the Nine Provinces World with the backing of the Venerables. He destroyed the surviving Dark Demon Emperor and was named the next Lord of the Minor Extreme Realm Domain, while his origins and mastery of darkness drew attention across the realms.
Lu Ming secured the Mysterious Venerable's protection, explored the Weird Race's territory, and strengthened his Dao Bodies through new laws and sword techniques. After collecting God King Token Fragments and reuniting with Xin Yuan, he approached the guarded God King Tower disguised as Chigudu.
Lu Ming advanced through the God King Tower, fought Cangyan Saint Sovereign, and broke through to Saint Sovereign while developing multiple Dao Bodies. He returned to the Endless Realm with the Phoenix Spirit Demon Emperor, then began a dangerous effort to merge his Daos as the Darkness Clan’s threat loomed.
