"It's very likely that the Female Titan is one of the spies among us!" The moment those words were spoken, Su Yang's face filled with shock and disbelief. He was unable to speak for a long while when footsteps suddenly sounded by his ear.
The two of them abruptly looked up and saw someone familiar—one of his subordinates. The weight in his heart eased somewhat, though he was still dissatisfied. The subordinate instinctively took a few steps back, utterly confused and unaware of what had happened.
"Should I leave first and let you discuss your business?"
Captain Levi stopped him in time. After all, his subordinate would not have entered for no reason. Something important had likely happened.
"If there's something to say, just say it."
The subordinate strode toward them, pushed forward the latest intelligence, and calmly analyzed the situation. Things were extremely critical and the situation was tense. It had to be dealt with quickly, or it might become impossible to resolve.
Everyone understood this perfectly well. Everything was within his expectations.
He did not see through it, merely flipping through the latest information without saying a word from beginning to end. Captain Levi took in his actions and sighed helplessly. The subordinate said a few simple words before being dismissed.
After he left, the vast room fell into deathly silence. The two stared at each other, speechless.
The people who usually followed them had fought alongside them through life and death, and they had always been utterly loyal. They could not possibly betray him so easily. He pondered it briefly.
The person beside him made a suggestion, deliberately lowering his voice.
"Why don't we find out who is behind this? If we really manage to flush out the person behind it, wouldn't that make things much easier?"
