Aboard Real Madrid's private jet, flying from Madrid to Tokyo, Japan, on Emirates Airline, every Real Madrid player included in the FIFA Club World Cup squad crowded in front of the same camera. Yang Yang stood opposite them, holding his freshly released iPhone 6s Plus and fitting every player into the shot. He quickly posted the photo in the Real Madrid players' chat group.

This was the first time Yang Yang had faced a team from his homeland at the FIFA Club World Cup. Moreover, his National Team teammate Zheng Zhi currently played for the club. Zheng Zhi had returned to China
