On the morning of July 11, Madrid had clear blue skies without a cloud in sight.
When Mbappé slowly drove his friend Varane's Audi into the Valdebebas Training Base, he was filled with curiosity about everything around him. Only a few days earlier, he had already toured the world's most advanced football training facility under the guidance of Real Madrid head coach Zidane.
But today was clearly different, because it was the first day of Real Madrid's preseason training camp.

Mbappé tried his best to remember his friend's introductions, but there were simply too many details, and everything was becoming jumbled.
