Every year on April 15, Anfield Stadium held a memorial ceremony for the Hillsborough Disaster.

This was not merely an affair for Liverpool Football Club, but a memorial for the entire city of Liverpool.

But this year was different, because it marked the twentieth anniversary.

The whole city of Liverpool attached enormous importance to it, and preparations for a series of events had begun several days earlier.
