The One and Only

This was a detached villa located in the heart of La Moraleja, occupying thirty mu.

The rectangular plot was enclosed by outer walls more than two meters high, their surfaces covered in ivy. A dense layer of barbed wire could vaguely be seen inside. If an intruder tried to sneak in and triggered the alarm system on the walls, the community guards could arrive within five minutes.

From the road, one could only vaguely guess through the tall walls that the grounds were enormous and beautifully landscaped. A whole row of trees had been planted along the walls, and through gaps in their crowns, one could barely make out the top of the second floor of a white-walled building in the distance.

By comparison, the entrance looked rather simple. Several surveillance cameras pointed toward the road and walls from the old-fashioned ocher-yellow exterior. According to the real estate agent, the villa was equipped with the most advanced and secure smart security system available.

What attracted Yang Yang's attention most was the house number beside the sealed electric gate: two antique-looking Arabic numerals, 11.
