Real Madrid claimed a resounding five-nil away victory over Barcelona, recording a huge win unlike any they had achieved in more than a decade. Yang Yang scored a hat-trick, provided one assist, and indirectly created another goal. He single-handedly created all five of Real Madrid's goals."

Alfredo began his report this way, believing that with this match, Yang Yang had shown the ability and potential to stand alongside Real Madrid's historic legends.
