Eating Moose.

The safe return of Wolf Dad and Wolf Mom filled Su Lin with joy.

All eight adult Arctic Wolves had returned, not one missing.

None of them were seriously injured, and they had dragged back an adult Moose and three Moose calves in their jaws.

It was clear that the pack's hunt had gone smoothly.

Only the blizzard had blocked their way back.

The snowstorm had only just stopped, and they had rushed home at once.

Wolf Mom especially had exhausted herself running, all because she wanted to see her children sooner.

Family bonds had always been something great among mammals.

"Awoo!"

Su Lin had gone out to greet Wolf Mom early.

Wolf Mom affectionately licked Su Lin.

Seeing that Su Lin had grown another size larger also delighted her.

Then she tossed the newborn Moose calf she had been carrying in her mouth to Su Lin.

Su Lin gave a low growl, signaling that such easily digestible young prey should be left for Wolf Sister.

His thoughtfulness made Wolf Mom unable to resist licking him again.

Though Su Lin was somewhat uncomfortable with such intimacy, fortunately, as a wolf, his body did not react much to it.

Soon, after Su Lin led Wolf Mom back into the cave.

Cousin Sister, Wolf Sister, and Gray-White Little Wolf all leaped up in excitement and gathered around Wolf Mom.

Only Little Gray trotted along behind Su Lin.

After Wolf Mom tore open the Moose calf's belly, she tossed it to the young wolves to eat.

Gray-White Little Wolf had been about to take a bite when it suddenly remembered something.

It raised its head to look at Su Lin and only began eating after Su Lin gave permission.

Wolf Mom noticed this, but she voiced no objection.

After all, the strong were respected. It was perfectly normal for a group of wolf pups to listen to Su Lin.

Looking at Su Lin's body, which was already no smaller than hers, Wolf Mom felt he had grown far too quickly.

Soon afterward, Wolf Dad and the others returned to the cave as well.

Having been delayed by the blizzard for several days, he had also worried that something might have happened to the pups.

Herbivores gave sharply diminishing Evolution Points, but their meat was exceptionally delicious.

As Su Lin chewed, he found the Moose meat tender, smooth, and refreshing.

It tasted far better than the dry, tough meat of a Lynx.

He swallowed mouthful after mouthful.

Inside the wolf pack's den, Su Lin did not worry that eating too much would affect his mobility.

Thus, he only stopped once his belly was round and full.

Su Lin had an excellent appetite, eating more than ten pounds of meat in one sitting.

That appetite far surpassed that of an ordinary adult Arctic Wolf and was enough to rival Wolf Dad's.

This Moose meat had also provided Su Lin with more than fifty Evolution Points.
