Arctic Aurora

Next, Su Lin took Little Gray and searched another vast stretch of the Vast Arctic Continent.

They still found nothing.

Under the polar night, all things lay silent.

Su Lin stood atop a Snow Slope, gazing into the distance.

Aside from the faint flickering Arctic Aurora near the distant ice sheet, there were no signs of life anywhere else.

In the end, Su Lin decided to take a look at the ice sheet.

Some red auroras bloomed like camellias, blazing scarlet, while some purple auroras resembled draped curtains.

Of course, there were also auroras that emitted green, ray-like light. Such auroras could illuminate a great distance.

The aurora drifted lightly, dimming and brightening without warning.

One glance was enough to make it seem utterly magnificent.

This was a beautiful painting naturally drawn by nature.

Many people had once believed that the beautiful aurora was the light of ghosts and gods opening heaven's gates to guide lost souls.

And beneath the beautiful aurora, Su Lin's pair of faintly glowing green eyes spotted the shadows of several animals on the ice sheet.

It was a group of Seals.

The Seals lounged together on the ice sheet, numbering five or six.

Seals were also mammals. If they wanted to raise their young, they needed to stay on the ice sheet.

It seemed they had merely come ashore to rest.

Su Lin paid no attention to the Seals' gazes and came over to where Little Gray was.

He looked at the opening in the ice sheet and the fish swimming below.

Su Lin's eyesight and reaction speed were much faster than Little Gray's.

When he saw a fish swim past the opening, he immediately slashed down fiercely with one claw.

His sharp wolf claw plunged deep into the seawater, stirring up whirlpools.
