Northern Pike

The northern pike was over a meter long.

It was enormous.

Its bite force was also very strong.

Following the scent of blood, it arrived here.

After swallowing a small fish, it continued swishing its tail as it searched for more fish.

Seeing this,

Su Lin used his claws to scrape some bloody scales into the opening in the ice.

The thick scent of blood instantly spread out.

This caused the northern pike to flick its tail and swim to the opening in the ice.

The northern pike's eyes held the unique ferocity of Arctic Ocean fish.

In this stretch of sea, it could be considered a minor overlord.

that above the opening in the ice, a pair of green-glowing eyes was staring fixedly at it.

A claw covered in white fur entered the water and viciously slashed toward it.

The sharp claw tips were as keen as blades.

They cut swiftly through the water, stirring up several swirling currents.

The northern pike did not know whose claws these were, but being naturally combative, it felt no fear. Ferocity flashed in its eyes

as it fiercely whipped its powerful tail at the wolf claw.

In the past,

this tail had always been invincible when fighting other fish for food.

But this time, it had clearly miscalculated.

Although its tail carried great force,

that white claw was sharper and faster.

The blade-like claws tore through its thick scales.

The northern pike writhed in pain, violently twisting as it flung its tail away.

Then it opened its mouth, exposing rows of tiny sharp teeth as it viciously bit at the claw.

Su Lin, standing above the water,

He had thought that missing with that claw just now would let the northern pike escape.

But he had not expected this pike to be so fierce!

It was even attacking him.

A dangerous glint emerged in Su Lin's wolf eyes. Rather than retreat, he advanced, sending his wolf claw straight into the pike's open mouth.

The sharp claws collided with the pike's pointed teeth. Normally, the pike only swallowed other fish from the Arctic Ocean.

The sharp teeth in its mouth clearly could not bite through Su Lin's claws.

Instead, its lower jaw was directly pierced by the claws.

The pike was firmly hooked.

The claws on his wolf paw were firmly hooked into the pike's lower jaw.

Its injured tail also whipped about frantically.

This time, it did not bite the claws, but the white fur.

But the white fur on the wolf claw was soft, smooth, and dense.

The outermost flesh beneath it was also taut and tough.

This caused the rows of tiny sharp teeth in the northern pike's mouth to fail to pierce Su Lin's flesh.

Still, the enormous bite force made Su Lin feel a burst of pain.

A savage glint flashed through his eyes. Taking advantage of the moment when the northern pike was focused on biting and was not struggling,

his right claw suddenly exerted force, and the strength of his entire body erupted at once.

He directly hauled the massive northern pike, a full meter long, out through the break in the ice! Bang! Once it was dragged out, the northern pike's huge body slammed onto the ice sheet.

Separated from the seawater, it had lost its home ground.

Although the northern pike would still struggle madly,

its powerful tail could only smash the nearby ice and snow into the air.

Su Lin raised his right claw and viciously struck the northern pike's head.

Smack! Smack! Smack! Crisp yet brutal blows rang out across the ice sheet.

Before long, large amounts of bright red blood flowed out from beneath the northern pike's head.

Its wildly flailing tail also went still.
