Life Lies in Staying Still (Taking the Day Off)
Today was supposed to be my day off, but my workplace suddenly decided to hold some pre-holiday deep cleaning, and it took the whole day.
After getting home and finishing dinner, all I wanted was to lie in bed without moving. Forget getting up to write—even if I had spare moments here and there, I had no interest in doing anything.
All in all, there wasn't that much work, and it wasn't especially tiring compared to other things. But because I'd spent so long cooped up at home writing, even this level of labor made me feel completely drained...
So... I'm taking the day off. Going back to lying down.
People are iron, beds are magnets. For me right now, life lies in staying still!
Because when you're utterly exhausted, only by staying perfectly still can you feel the beauty of life, instead of wishing you were dead...
