Taking a day off.
Dear readers, seeing this title, you must really want to curse: Why have I been slacking off lately? Always taking time off!
The reason can be summed up in two words: writer's block!
Yesterday, I was so stuck that I couldn't sleep all night. After going to a meeting at work this morning, I came back and caught up on some sleep. But when I woke up, my head still hurt. So miserable...
Then I went through a lot of relevant materials and reorganized the storylines. I finally managed to solve the issue of the plot being relatively bland in the previous outline.
But there are still several logical contradictions that need to be carefully polished and considered.
This work has only just begun...
So I absolutely have to take another day off today. Otherwise, what I write will just be plain water—too bland, with no flavor.
Also, I feel that from now until this book ends, taking a day off every half month to month may become normal. Now that the book has reached its latter half, dealing with all kinds of issues is much harder than before. Pull one hair, and the whole body moves.
