This was my first web novel. To me, it was a wondrous journey. I saw magnificent scenery and traveled alongside lovely companions. I'm deeply grateful for and fulfilled by this period of time.

Now, although I'm reluctant to part, it's time to place the final full stop.

Let's start by talking about the ending of the story.

The ending moved very quickly and was somewhat rough. Some friends said it had a bad ending, and others said the story's framework was too ambitious, while my writing ability wasn't enough to control it.

Actually, last month, I, Eighty Thousand, fell into a struggle: how long should I make this story?

Those who have followed the story know that, considering the grand backdrop I designed, if I really wanted to spread it out, writing another one or two million words would have been no problem.

For instance, I could have woven Journey to the West into the story, written out all the ancient sages of humanity, and brought every familiar mythological figure onto the stage one by one. I could have spent 800,000 words on the Golden Immortal Realm, another 800,000 on the Creation Realm, and finally 300,000 on the grand finale of becoming a Saint. It would have been easy and pleasant, and it would have had little to do with writing ability.

Moreover, from the perspective of income, although this book couldn't become a major intellectual property, with its current results, even with updates as sluggish as mine, a guaranteed six-figure monthly income would have been no problem.
