Dao Master Becoming Mortal, Star Master Descending into the World (Awooo)
Confucianism sought knowledge, Daoism pursued yin and yang, and Buddhism faced the Five Declines.
These were the grades of the Three Great Daos from Nine Thousand Li to Ten Thousand Li.
Seeking knowledge meant journeying through the boundless night, searching for direction; yin and yang meant drifting and sinking in a vast ocean, seeking a chance at life; the Five Declines meant bearing sin and karma with the physical body, seeking the true fruit amid suffering.
All were necessary paths to putting oneself in mortal danger before finding life, and to Transcendence into Sagehood.
Now, Martial Dao had gained this grade as well—becoming mortal.
Entering the Great Thousand World, plunging into the rolling Mortal World, and seeking a Mortal World Dao belonging to oneself.
Using martial force as the blade and mortality as the sheath!
The day the Dao was completed would be the day Martial Dao set foot into Ten Thousand Li!
After arranging the many affairs, Chen Luo quietly returned to Lingzhou.
Becoming mortal was now set. For Martial Dao Ten Thousand Miles, Chen Luo naturally had to make the journey.
However, unlike the Great Daos of Confucianism, Daoism, and Buddhism, practitioners of those three paths gained deeper understanding of their principles, and thus greater cultivation.
For example, above the first rank in the Demon Race was a realm called "Peak," corresponding precisely to seeking knowledge, yin and yang, and the Five Declines.
Thus, Great Scholars, Dao Lords, and Bodhisattvas who had stepped beyond Nine Thousand Li were stronger than first-rank cultivators in terms of combat power.
But Martial Dao at this stage did not increase combat power. On the contrary, martial artists would enter their most vulnerable moment.
Just as its name implied—becoming mortal!
