Grand Line, an island somewhere.
Half an hour ago, the Blackbeard Pirates arrived on the island.
Half an hour later, the town had been reduced to ruins. Some residents fled, while others died.
"Zehahaha..."
Blackbeard sat atop the ruins of a building, a newspaper in hand. When he opened his mouth in laughter, his uneven teeth showed.
"Ghost Gun, the gatekeeper of the New World. Interesting. Zehahaha..."
Blackbeard lowered his head and looked at Maud's photograph in the newspaper.
His expression and movements.
Everything about him exuded an unusually fierce aura that seemed to pierce through the paper.
Not simple...
Even without the contents of the report, just from the expression and bearing revealed in the photograph,
Blackbeard could tell that this young man, who had only recently inherited the position of Shichibukai, was undoubtedly a ruthless man who had climbed over mountains of corpses and seas of blood. He was no ordinary person!
The helmsman Burgess, a tall, burly man with long purple hair, came up beside Blackbeard and glanced at the newspaper in his hand.
"Wahaha, this Ghost Gun seems pretty capable. Hey, Oka, he uses guns too, just like you."
As Burgess spoke, he looked down at a tall man beneath the ruins. The man wore a black cloak, a monocle telescope over his right eye, and held a modified long-barreled gun.
This man was the Oka Burgess had mentioned, as well as the sniper of the Blackbeard Pirates.
Oka met Burgess's gaze and said indifferently, "I'm different from him."
"Different?"
Burgess froze for a moment, then asked curiously, "How are you different? The newspaper made it perfectly clear. Ghost Gun uses guns, or how else would he have gotten that title? Besides, just like you, he can take a person's life from several thousand meters away."
