Two years.
Maud and Sunny had both changed.
The only thing that might not have changed was Sunny's chest, which rivaled Perona's.
After reuniting following such a long separation, the two naturally had endless things to talk about.
But Betty clearly wasn't going to let them chat on their own.
"Sunny, we're on a tight 'schedule.'"
The blunt reminder immediately killed Sunny's enthusiasm.
"Mm."
Sunny abruptly stopped speaking, suppressing the joy surging through her heart as she gave Betty a slight nod.
Although the plan to overthrow Alabasta had changed, as Betty had said, they were indeed pressed for time.
Maud glanced at Betty and slightly reined in his joy at seeing Sunny.
Given their current situation, this truly wasn't the right time to reminisce.
After stopping Maud and Sunny from catching up, Betty planted one hand on her hip. The front of her short vest had shifted to the left, faintly revealing a glimpse of her ample curves.
Yet she didn't care in the slightest. Maintaining that pose, she looked straight at Dragon, who was not far away.
"You've seen the person you wanted to see. Shouldn't we be leaving?"
Facing the leader of the Revolutionary Army, this forthright woman showed not the slightest awareness of herself as a subordinate.
Dragon had long since grown accustomed to Betty's temperament. He paid no attention to her attitude and simply nodded to show that he understood.
Betty's words let Maud understand why Dragon had deliberately lingered here.
To meet someone?
It was probably Luffy...
Maud reached his conclusion.
Sunny tilted her head up to look at Maud and said softly, "I should be going."
"Are you leaving Alabasta, or...?"
Hearing that, Maud asked directly, without any reservations, a question involving their movements.
"Ahem."
