Must they obtain the Op-Op Fruit?
The three CP0 members had barged into the office and thrown out their demand from a position of superiority. Sengoku and the others each reacted differently.
Sengoku furrowed his brows, clearly displeased.
Garp was even more direct, baring his teeth.
Tsuru quietly studied CP0, deep in thought.
Akainu remained expressionless. His seated posture had not changed from beginning to end.
Aokiji lowered his hand and looked at CP0 as though he were looking at something extremely troublesome.
CP0's sudden intervention was clearly unexpected.
"Obtain the Op-Op Fruit?"
Sengoku frowned at the lead CP0 member and said coldly, "Do you think the Maud Pirates will agree to such a demand?"
"Why seek a pirate's consent over such a 'minor matter'?"
"You call this a minor matter...?"
Sengoku's expression darkened.
"Is it not?"
CP0 first responded with a question, then said coldly, "Or are you trying to tell me explicitly that, with the abilities of your Marines, you cannot complete the mission of 'setting an ambush during the transaction and arresting the Op-Op Fruit user on the spot'?"
Without waiting for Sengoku to respond, CP0 slightly raised his head and said as though it were only natural:
"But that makes sense. Having already failed once, you truly are unfit to take on such an important responsibility. In that case... once the transaction has been settled, the subsequent mission will be taken over by us, CP0."
"If you do this, you will only anger Maud."
Sengoku's gaze toward CP0 was icy cold.
"So what? No matter how great the price, if 'God' wants something, you must offer it with both hands."
CP0's tone brooked no objection as he said coldly, "Yet you, a dignified Marine Fleet Admiral, are actually concerned about whether a pirate will become angry.
