Celestial Gold was the treasure that the World Government's affiliated nations regularly paid tribute to the Celestial Dragons.

It could be understood as tribute, or as a kind of tax.

Since it was paid directly to the Celestial Dragons, its importance went without saying.

Yet for reasons unknown, Bullet attacked the Celestial Gold not long after the Reverie ended.

Maud watched the ongoing live broadcast, his eyes narrowing slightly.

On the screen, flames burned atop enormous warships, while billowing black smoke surged into the sky.

Bullet stood alone at the bow of a warship that was about to sink beneath the sea. He grinned coldly as he faced the cannon fire converging on him from numerous warships.

The sharp whistling of shells rang across the sky above the sea.

One shell after another tore through the air and flew toward Bullet like a flock of geese returning south.

"Boring."

A fierce light flashed in Bullet's eyes. He raised his arm and swung it, sending Armament Haki shooting outward. It detonated the incoming shells in midair.

"Boom boom boom...!!!"

Amid the dense explosions, thick smoke billowed in all directions.

Immediately afterward, Bullet burst through the black smoke in midair. Moving as swiftly as thunder, he plunged straight down from the sky and crashed onto one of the ships.

With a deafening boom, the ship split in two.

The people aboard the ship were sent flying one after another by Bullet like pieces of trash, crashing into the sea with their fates unknown.

The surrounding warships turned their cannons around. Completely disregarding the safety of their comrades, they decisively opened fire on Bullet.

Amid a burst of sharp sounds, shells whistled toward the ship split in two.

Seeing this, Bullet stepped on Geppo and rose into the air.
