"Fine, so you're refusing a toast only to be forced to drink. Fat Brother was giving you a chance to live."
"You don't know how to appreciate it, and you even dare to use Fat Brother's words against us? You must have a death wish!"
The Short Guy spoke first. His words were incredibly pleasing to hear, and they made Fat Brother feel immensely comfortable.
The Short Guy knew that his Bellsprout was still extremely weak, so the clever man immediately latched onto Fat Brother's coattails.
By showering him with flattery, the Short Guy had firmly secured the second seat in the group.
Qing Wu secretly made a hand signal. This was the command he had given Kecleon and Zubat to launch their attack.
After receiving the command, Zubat and Kecleon attacked at the same time.
A whirlwind suddenly rose silently from the battlefield, and the raging wind tossed Qing Wu's hair into disarray.
Qing Wu stood there calmly, looking at everything around him with an indifferent expression.
"Damn it, where did this whirlwind come from all of a sudden?" The Fat Brother was also stunned by the unexpected whirlwind.
"Be careful, we're under attack!" Fat Brother suddenly realized something and looked at the composed Qing Wu.
Qing Wu seemed to have seen through everything. He nodded at Fat Brother, and Fat Brother immediately understood.
Qing Wu was using himself as bait, intending to wipe out the entire group in one fell swoop.
"Spinarak, use String Dance!" Fat Brother hurriedly ordered Spinarak.
Spinarak calmly nodded. Then, the silk it spat out scattered through the forest like a heavenly maiden scattering flowers, spreading everywhere.
"This Fat Brother has some skill after all." Qing Wu watched as Spinarak used the wind to spread its web throughout the entire forest.
No matter how strong the whirlwind was, Spinarak remained firmly planted on its web, moving freely across it.
"Ah! Ah! Ah! Bellsprout, pull yourself together!" The Short Guy suddenly discovered that his Bellsprout had collapsed to the ground, unconscious.
A sharp wound had opened on Bellsprout's head, and green liquid was continuously flowing from it.
"When did this happen?" The Short Guy looked around. He had failed to notice what had happened, but Qing Wu had seen it clearly.
He had seen Zubat quietly approach Bellsprout with the tailwind.
Before Bellsprout could react, Zubat had used its sharp wings to fan out transparent Wind Blades that struck Bellsprout's body.
After Bellsprout fell with a thud, Zubat silently withdrew.
"My Spinarak's web formation has already been set up. I'm just waiting for your Zubat to enter the web."
Fat Brother gave a sinister laugh. His chubby cheeks were squeezed into a mass, and the sinister smile on his face made him look like a venomous snake.
"Ever since I entered the training camp, I've known how troublesome Flying-type Pokémon are. So I created this technique myself, teaching Spinarak to use the wind to spit out its web."
Fat Brother spoke with smug pride.
"Unfortunately, I don't have just one Pokémon." Qing Wu murmured as a huge boulder came crashing down from the sky.
The web instantly shattered, and Spinarak frantically dodged the falling rocks.
Meowth nimbly avoided them as well, then used Fury Swipes to cleave the falling rocks into several pieces.
This made Qing Wu look at that Meowth with newfound respect.
"There's another Pokémon?" Fat Brother froze for a moment. Then, realizing this was the case, a vicious light flashed in his eyes.
"Spinarak, use Poison Sting on that man!"
Fat Brother pointed at Qing Wu and shouted. He also took out the Pokémon stored in his Wristband and released them. They were three Beedrill.
"You lot, hurry up and release your other Pokémon too!"
Fat Brother had an extremely sharp battle instinct. Sensing that something was wrong, he hurriedly urged his companions to release their other Pokémon.
Two Spearow and two Oddish were released. Qing Wu looked at the Pokémon released by the Tall Guy and found that it was an Electrike.
After emerging from its Poké Ball, the Electrike happily ran over to the Tall Guy's trouser leg and played with Meowth.
Annoyed by its antics, Meowth lightly smacked Electrike on the head with one paw, signaling the little fellow to stop fooling around.
"You've already captured an Electrike?" Qing Wu found it difficult to imagine the Electrike before him as the Manectric that would dominate the battlefield in the future.
In his previous life, whenever Qing Wu attended meetings and saw Manectric's eyes, they had been filled with hatred and indifference toward humans.
That Manectric had also been an advanced Elite Four-level Pokémon. After Mega Evolution, it possessed strength comparable to a high-level Elite Four Pokémon.
"Attack all at once! Kill him!" Fat Brother commanded the Pokémon.
However, the Pokémon seemed not to have heard Fat Brother's order. Instead, they bared their claws and fangs at him.
These unruly Pokémon had never truly been tamed by Fat Brother's group.
The Beedrill thrust up their rear ends and fired volley after volley of Poison Sting at Fat Brother, while the Spearow revealed their sharp claws.
Even the Oddish shook their leaves and scattered purple poisonous powder.
If Fat Brother's Spinarak had not been loyal enough to protect its trainer, Fat Brother might have been pierced through by the Beedrill's stingers in front of everyone and bled to death.
However, the loyal Spinarak was pierced through the body by a Beedrill's stinger, and the Beedrill lifted it high into the air.
"Ah!" Fat Brother cried out when he saw Spinarak pierced by the Beedrill's stinger.
The gleaming stinger stopped just one centimeter from him. Spinarak struggled desperately, its body twitching.
Seeing this, Fat Brother threw out the Poké Ball in his hand and fled, scrambling away on all fours.
As its body twitched, Spinarak watched with its own eyes as its trainer abandoned it and fled in panic.
"Koffing, use Self-Destruct!" After Skinny Monkey saw Fat Brother flee, all the Pokémon's eyes turned toward him.
Skinny Monkey knew that the Pokémon had chosen him as the target of their anger, so he hurriedly ordered Koffing to use Self-Destruct.
A thunderous boom rang out, producing countless clouds of smoke.
After the smoke cleared, Skinny Monkey and the Short Guy had vanished. Just as the Tall Guy was about to flee, a Zubat blocked his path.
Koffing's Self-Destruct had not caused much damage to the Pokémon on the battlefield.
"Kecleon, finish off the Pokémon on the field." Qing Wu issued the command.
Kecleon burst out of the ground. It turned out that it had long since dug a tunnel and hidden near Qing Wu, guarding him.
"Use Rock Smash." Qing Wu issued another command. This was also a technique he had created himself: Rock Tomb combined with Rock Slide.
When the two techniques appeared simultaneously, it was like two boulders crushing together, inflicting tremendous damage on the Pokémon.
"Da-da-da." After finishing off the Pokémon, Qing Wu walked to a spot not far from the Tall Guy and used the system to scan his Pokémon.

With Qing Wu approaching, Meowth stepped in front of the Tall Guy and Electrike, shielding them as it extended the claws beneath its paw pads.
"I mean you no harm," Qing Wu said to the Tall Guy.
"I'm here to help you." Qing Wu said a second sentence to the Tall Guy.
Qing Wu took out the Poké Balls Fat Brother had left behind and returned the defeated Pokémon to them one by one.
Only Spinarak remained at the scene. Its body had been pierced, and green blood was steadily flowing from the wound made by the Beedrill's stinger.
Spinarak's blood dripped onto the ground, forming a small puddle.
"Fortunately, its internal organs weren't damaged." Qing Wu glanced at Spinarak's wound. Pokémon with Green Quality were exceptionally rare.
Spinarak lay motionless on the ground, staring blankly at Qing Wu, its former enemy.
