After weaving the Cocoon of Fire, Larvesta shifted its body and plunged into the magma. It would absorb the Fire-type energy within the volcano and complete its final evolution.
Larvesta should have had an intermediate form before evolving into Volcarona. However, because the evolution happened so quickly, no one had ever recorded that intermediate form.
As Qing Wu watched Larvesta hide inside the Cocoon of Fire and disappear into the magma, a dark shadow at the bottom of the magma gathered toward one spot, while countless flames converged on the cocoon.
The Cocoon of Fire filtered out the impure Fire-type energy, leaving only pure Fire-type energy to assist Larvesta's evolution.
