A moment later, one of the building's windows suddenly shattered inch by inch, revealing what looked like an office.
An armored figure covered in mottled marks and flashing lights crashed into the office.
It smashed everything inside into pieces.
Soon, as the building warped and the windows filled with fragments, every window in the entire building shattered at once.
A mecha burst out of the building, smashing through its structure. Its feet cracked the ground and sent the vehicles parked along the road flying.
At last, the mecha slammed into a shopping mall across the street. Its body crashed into the building, sending rubble flying, but the mecha finally came to a stop.
The pilot inside shook his head hard. When he looked out through the panoramic window, he saw a Red Beast smirking in front of the building he had just smashed apart.
Then the giant beast, with two enormous black horns like iron towers growing from its head, was knocked aside by 'Mystic Wing', which rammed it with its shield.
The Red Beast slid across the street. Its forelimbs, resembling human arms, spread their ten fingers wide and gouged an equal number of trenches into the road before it finally came to a stop.
It raised its lionlike yet bison-shaped head and let out a roar before charging toward 'Mystic Wing'.
The Red Beast was enormous. Each step made the earth tremble, and every time its four limbs hit the ground, they crushed a web of cracks into the road.
The cracks spread outward in both directions, reaching the buildings on either side of the street. The various structures, large and small, tall and short, all began to sway.
