The manor wine cellar.
The red-haired woman, Liu Jing, sat on a long table, her shirt collar open and her legs crossed.
She propped herself up with both hands, her eyes glazed with intoxication.
Suddenly.
She looked out the window.
She faintly heard some voices.
"What happened by the main gate?"
"Hiss~"
"You hurt me, bastard."
She abruptly clamped her legs together. The sound of bones cracking rang out immediately, and a guard crumpled to the ground, his eyes rolling back as bloody froth bubbled from his mouth.
Liu Jing tugged at her shirt, jumped off the table, and walked to the window.
She looked toward the main gate, but unfortunately, it was too far away, with a vineyard between it and her. She could barely see anything.
But just then, a flash of fire suddenly flickered outside the window, far away in the darkness.
Liu Jing's hair suddenly floated upward. A sense of extreme danger made her twist around.
The next second.
The window shattered. Shards of glass reflected the lights, glittering like stars.
Liu Jing's shoulder suddenly exploded, blood and flesh spraying everywhere as the tremendous impact sent her flying backward.
She crashed into a row of wine cabinets before falling to the ground.
The wine bottles on the cabinets came crashing down, and the fragrance of wine instantly filled the area.
Liu Jing leaned against the wine cabinets, her head hanging low, seemingly dead.
But she suddenly raised her head again. Looking at the shoulder that had been hit, she closed her eyes for a moment. "Damn it, a sniper."
She stood up. The muscles in her shoulder were already writhing as they regenerated.
Liu Jing screamed toward the outside, "What are you doing? There's a sniper! Find the sniper's position immediately!"
But no one outside answered.
