Steelbone was a variant of the Chimeric Beast, and just as its name suggested, this variant had rough skin, thick flesh, and incredibly hard bones. It was no easy thing to kill.
When Steelbone charged forward, Luo Yan's heart gave a heavy thump. He wished he could be there himself so he could slaughter those variants.
But now, the soldiers of the Strategic Affairs Department were probably in for trouble.

Then, a sixth cultivator thrust out his longsword. With a sweep, the blade erupted with blazing flames, which then condensed and contracted, covering the sword and causing its blade to glow red.
In an instant, the sword swept across Steelbone's neck, severing its hard bones and removing its head!
