Sitting on the Nether Capital Stone, the man wearing a coin mask spoke softly, as if he were only speaking to himself. Occasionally, a breeze swept past, lifting his silver-gray hair and disturbing his indigo eyes.
He stretched an arm from beneath his cloak and pointed toward the outside of the Nameless Void.
"Go."
"Don't let the humans disturb me."
"Next, I'm going to enlarge and reinforce this passage."
"I'll turn it into a 'bridge' capable of accommodating the descent of more of our kind."
The giant beasts growled as if in response. Then, across the vast land of the Nameless Void, one giant beast after another turned around and charged toward the human camp.
Among these giant beasts, the three overlords were impossible to overlook.
The auras they radiated caused the other giant beasts to flee far away, not daring to approach them.
Walking in the very center was a beast resembling a giant tortoise.
Its body was enormous, larger than the Nether Capital Stone. It was pitch-black all over and radiated scorching heat, like a moving black volcano.
Its body was covered in countless rocks, which piled up across its back to form black "mountains."
Whenever the giant tortoise moved, one orange-yellow line after another appeared across those black mountains.
From a distance, it looked as if blazing magma were flowing down from the Black Peaks.
The giant tortoise radiated astonishing heat, causing the moisture in the air to constantly evaporate and forming a hazy cloud of steam around it.
The steam and firelight reflected off each other, giving the colossal beast an intensely oppressive presence. Its movements seemed slow, but because of its immense size, its speed was not much slower than that of the other giant beasts.
This was the overlord Blazing Rock Dragon.
