Crash!
The rubble fell to the ground along with Teng Snake. After being rammed by Teng Snake, the mural depicting an ancient battlefield was already down to less than a third of its original state, badly damaged.
In the rear hall, several scholars watched the scene on the screen. Seeing the rock painting destroyed just like that, their mouths twisted in pain.
"Oh no, it was ruined just like that. These are cultural treasures!"
"There was nothing anyone could do. Who would have thought that Teng Snake would chase them here?"
"Now we can only hope Captain Luo Yan goes easy on things and doesn't damage anything else."
"Come on. It's painful to see these relics damaged, sure, but we can't blame Captain Luo Yan."
"I'm not blaming him. It just hurts to see it."
After glancing at the scholars, Jia Miao picked up the radio and said, "Captain Luo Yan, it would be best not to fight in the main hall. It's not that we're worried about the objects themselves, but the 'Divine Remnant' is in there."
"If the battle happens to affect it and damages the outer layer of 'Dragon Haze Jade,' we don't know what might happen. It's better to be careful."
In the cockpit, Luo Yan nodded. "I know what to do now."
He piloted Yao Yuan and swooped toward Teng Snake.
Teng Snake had recovered by then. It roared and slammed into the mecha.
Luo Yan dodged with ease, then controlled Yao Yuan to flick its sword upward, sending several of Teng Snake's scales flying.
Earlier, on the stone bridge, Teng Snake had let Yao Yuan tear open a gash in its back, nearly shattering its bones.
Now Yao Yuan had sent its scales flying again. New and old grudges surged through it at once.
