"Commander, what do we do now?"
Simon's voice made Anna withdraw her gaze. After a brief moment of thought, she said,
"Send people to scout in the direction of Aalborg Airport. I want to know what the Heavenly Fire Squad is doing!"
"Also, divide the Mech Masters into three shifts and have them rest in rotation. I need them to remain in peak condition."
As order after order was issued, the White Swan Action Group became busy from the inside out.
After giving those orders, Anna seemed lost in thought, staring blankly into space.
It was not until Simon reminded her, "Commander, you should get some rest."
"If there's any news, I'll notify you."
Only then did Anna nod. As she turned around, she said softly, "Simon..."
Simon raised his head. "What is it?"
In the end, Anna shook her head. "Nothing. Notify me if you hear anything."
Watching her hurry away, Simon said nothing.

She did not want to make her adjutant or the others feel that she was weak.
Especially since she was a woman. Once the people under her sensed weakness, they would quickly lose confidence in her and in this Mecha Group.
Without confidence, how could they fight this battle?

The first scout team left Mermaid City.
An hour later, another scout team set out.
The White Swan Action Group ultimately dispatched four scout teams. Yet until the next morning, Anna received no news at all.
Moreover, they had lost contact with the scout teams.
Everyone they had sent out had vanished like stones
