The gates opened, and Louis strode in, shouting, "Get me Glan!"
Everyone in the hall already knew about the trouble at the two outposts. Now, seeing the fury on Louis's face, no one dared even breathe too loudly.
They all lowered their heads and worked, afraid of attracting his wrath.
Soon, the Command Center got in touch with Count Glan, who was away. When the count appeared on the screen, sitting in a chair and drinking red wine, Louis's eyes nearly spat fire.
"Count Glan, I remember my order to you was to sweep up the Strategic Affairs Department's command centers on our territory, not to go on a picnic and drink wine. Aren't you being a little too relaxed?"
Louis's expression was grim. If Glan had been there, he would have grabbed him by the collar and demanded an explanation.
Count Glan swirled the wine in his glass and said with a smile, "Commander Louis, you look awful. Did you sleep badly last night?"
"That would make sense. If I were you, I probably wouldn't be able to sleep either."
"After all, you lost two outposts in a single night. If I were commanding so incompetently, I wouldn't have the face to continue."
"Oh? Your expression looks a little strange. What, did you only receive the news this morning? Then I have to say, you're incredibly slow on the uptake."
Louis flew into a rage. "So it was you who sold the intelligence to the Strategic Affairs Department?"
"Glan, do you know what you're doing?"
"You betrayed this land, and you betrayed your people!"
Count Glan threw his head back and laughed on the screen. "Don't make me laugh, Louis. I betrayed the land and the people?"
