Deep in the Forbidden Land of Redwood National Park, an Overlord Giant Beast had hidden itself in the depths of its lair. Normally, it only lurked there during hibernation.
Yet over the past two days, even though it was not hibernation season, the Overlord had buried itself deep inside, afraid that the slightest trace of its aura might leak out.
It had no idea what had happened recently. First, two days ago, a terrifying aura had descended from the sky. Not long afterward, another aura that made it extremely uncomfortable had arrived.
The two auras then moved through its "territory," crossing almost the entire Forbidden Land.
But it had not dared make a sound, even though it had no idea what kind of beings those two auras belonged to.
It knew that either one of them could kill it as easily as playing with it. Killing it would be no more troublesome than killing a dog.
An Overlord knew when to yield and when to stand tall. Since it could not win, it hid away, pretending not to hear the wails of the giant beasts in its territory.
Today, the two auras had almost vanished at the edge of the Forbidden Land. The Overlord Giant Beast finally breathed a sigh of relief and planned to go outside to stretch its limbs, while announcing its presence to the giant beasts in its territory.
But before it could leave its lair, it sensed another disturbance within the Forbidden Land.
Some Steel Giants had appeared in its territory.
Moreover, these things were different from the ones it had seen in the past.
The red Steel Giant among them made the Overlord feel as if flames were scorching it, while the golden giant gave it the impression that it would be extremely troublesome to
