A huge peal of thunder rang out overhead. Hong Zhuang raised her head, and the dazzling lightning illuminated her face.
"Let's go. His Majesty is waiting for us," came from in front of Xing Ba.
Hong Zhuang looked over. A tall, broad-shouldered man dressed in black was walking toward the palace.
"Wait for me."
Hong Zhuang hurried after him and walked beside Xing Ba. She looked up and asked, "Why do you think His Majesty summoned us?"
Xing Ba did not answer. At that moment, his shoulder began to writhe, and a lump-like head grew out of it.
It was his elder brother, Yu Yi.
The triangular eyes on that head turned toward Hong Zhuang. With a cold, sinister smile, he said, "Stay away from my little brother, you poisonous snake. Don't get too close to us brothers."
Hong Zhuang's expression darkened. She snorted, quickened her pace, and widened the distance between herself and Xing Ba.
After Hong Zhuang had gone, Yu Yi said solemnly, "Little brother, don't get too close to that woman. I know what she's plotting."

"Don't let her frail appearance fool you. She was able to withstand His Majesty's Seedling Pulling Technique. That woman is definitely no simple character."
