Luo Yan waited in Bai Shaotang's office for more than half an hour before the Deputy Commander finally returned.
Bai Shaotang entered the office. Luo Yan saw that he was beaming, and it seemed something good had happened. Luo Yan couldn't help feeling curious.
Bai Shaotang did not leave him to guess. After sitting down, he tapped away at the keyboard for a while, then turned the computer screen toward Luo Yan. "Take a look."
Luo Yan looked over and saw that the screen was divided into four windows, each containing an irregular crystal.
One of the four crystals was scarlet red, with flames of light rising from it and occasionally condensing into the shape of a beast.
Another was indigo blue, with a golden center resembling an eye. Wisps of light constantly scattered around it, taking the shape of long feathers.
Another was shaped like Thick Armor, its surface rough and covered in flames.
The last crystal was especially unusual. It seemed to have been formed by the fusion of a black crystal and a gray-white crystal, resembling two fish in a yin-yang symbol.
Looking at these crystals, Luo Yan felt as though he had seen them before. An inexplicable sense of familiarity rose within him.
"What are these?" He looked at Bai Shaotang.
