As if to confirm the old man's suspicion, the two giants had only flown a short distance upward along the mountainside when he sensed an invisible force gathering continuously from all directions between heaven and earth.
He looked up from between the giants' palms and saw that, at some point, clusters of dark clouds had appeared above the mountain peak.
Thunder rumbled within those clouds. Gradually, irregular patches of light emerged among them.
At the same time, hair-thin arcs of electricity appeared all around the old man and the two giants.
Daring not to be negligent, he prepared ample protection for himself and the two giants.
A golden phantom quietly appeared beside the two giants. It was a handsome angel. The angelic phantom spread a pair of enormous golden wings, surprisingly enveloping the two giants and the old man together.
After the angelic phantom vanished, a thin layer of soft light, colored like the dawn, covered the surfaces of the old man and the two giants.
At that moment, the dark clouds overhead began to rumble. The old man looked up and saw that the patches of light, originally only the size of bottle caps, had expanded in that brief time to the size of wagon wheels!
Then lightning flashed within the clouds, and a thick beam of light covering the same area as the patch came crashing down toward the two giants!
The old man knew that it was no ordinary beam of light, but a thunder pillar containing Thunderous Power!
Just then, one of the giants forcefully beat its wings and shot upward, flying past its companion to meet the thunder pillar.
The giant reached out and clenched its hand in the air. Silver-white flames leaped from its palm and condensed into a long sword.
The silver sword
