The door opened.
The girl in pink pajamas had sweat-dampened hair and looked somewhat tired.
"It's nothing." Commander Bai forced a smile. "I just had a nightmare."
Luo Yan walked into the room, closed the door, and tousled Commander Bai's hair. "What did you dream about?"
Commander Bai walked to the vanity and combed her hair. A white skeletal hand on the table brought over a hair tie.
The girl took it and tied her hair into a ponytail. "I don't remember."
"It felt really scary. It even woke me up."
Luo Yan smiled. "Dreams are the opposite of reality, so don't be afraid."
Commander Bai nodded, then regained her usual energy. "I'll wash my face, and then we'll go eat together."
Luo Yan said, "I'll wait for you in the living room."
When he arrived in the living room, Luo Yan saw Li Yuqing take a bottle of beer from the refrigerator.
