Luo Yan was not unfamiliar with the strange creature known as the Headless General.
Among the strange creatures controlled by Bai?, it was used fairly often.
Like Lan Xiao, it was one of the main combat members.
However, the Headless General's combat power should be above Lan Xiao's. Moreover, by attaching different heads to its neck, the Headless General could wield different abilities.
This gave it a wider range of uses.
Whenever the Headless General was released, the strange creature either rose from behind Bai? or walked directly out of the air.

This was the first time Luo Yan had seen it.
He saw Ling Han's expression twist in pain, his eyeballs bulging, his mouth stretched to its limit.
The Headless General then crawled out of his mouth and finally landed on the ground.
The strange creature was still the same as before. Its body was clad in mottled Iron Armor, with heads belonging to different races and creatures hanging from its Armor Spikes.
It dragged a battered greatsword in its hand.
But now, strands of pitch-black, illusory chains began appearing around the Headless General.
All those chains extended backward and wound around Ling Han's arms, marking some kind of connection between the two.
"Kill him!"
Ling Han cried out shrilly.
The Headless General immediately acted. It did not remove any head from its Armor Spikes and attach it to its neck. Instead, it simply dragged its battered greatsword and charged straight at Luo Yan.
Luo Yan knew that entangling himself with a strange creature was meaningless.
From the looks of it, the Headless General had already been controlled by Ling Han. He would probably have to kill Ling Han to free the Headless General.
Luo Yan had no psychological burden about killing Ling Han.
