While everyone was lost in their own thoughts,
Han Yuchen, the center of everyone's attention, finally spoke.
He hopped down from his chair and repeatedly waved his hands at Flender, a slightly embarrassed shyness on his face.
"Grandpa Dean, there's no need to make things so special."
"I'll be the same as everyone else. I don't want special treatment."
What a show-off.
So fresh and refined, so unpretentious.
In his heart, Oscar silently gave Han Yuchen a thumbs-up.
However,
Flender's expression was more serious than ever.
He walked up to Han Yuchen, bent down, placed both hands on his shoulders, and said with utmost solemnity, word by word:
"No! You are different!"
Fire burned in his eyes—the fervor of someone who had discovered an unparalleled treasure!
"At Shrek, we only accept monsters, and we only teach monsters!"
"Monsters get monster treatment!"
"And you..."
Flender's voice boomed like a great bell, exploding beside everyone's ears.
"You are a monster among monsters!"
And so, the matter was settled.
Flender personally arranged the dormitories.
Tang San, Dai Mubai, and Oscar shared one dormitory.
Xiao Wu and Zhu Zhuqing shared another.
As for Han Yuchen, because of his "Divine Specialness," he naturally received a small courtyard of his own.
It was not large, but it was quiet and elegant, right beside Tang San's dormitory.
The night deepened.
Shrek Academy was completely silent.
The moonlight was lovely.
It poured down as though it cost nothing, coating the little courtyard in silver.
Han Yuchen sat on a stone bench, broke off a small piece of dry rations, and handed it to the Little White Fox by his feet.
The little fellow affectionately rubbed against his palm before swallowing it in one bite.
Not picky with food. Promising.
It would definitely become a food-devouring king someday.
