Richard sat before the workbench, silently calculating all the preparations he had made during this period.

After finishing his calculations and confirming that everything was in order with nothing overlooked, he let out a soft breath, rose to his feet, left the doorway area, and entered the adjacent Laboratory No. 3.
Inside Laboratory No. 3, the Longevity Ancient Tree Species Tin Wood was secured in a new transparent glass pool. Because of the previous accident, it had finally received the treatment of one tree per room. The power supply system had been repaired. Tinwood was currently focused on absorbing energy from the void, transmitting it into the Energy Controller, and then sending it to the other areas outside Laboratory No. 3 to serve its purpose. Perhaps it was too focused, because when Richard entered, Tinwood did not even acknowledge him.
Richard walked over to Tinwood, raised a hand, and knocked on its trunk. Only then did the trunk twist slightly, reluctantly revealing a human face that exhaled and asked, "What is it?"
"Pause your absorption of energy from the void for now," Richard said. "The time you pause can count toward the contract period. Consider it a vacation."
"Huh?" The face on Tinwood's trunk blinked, clearly suspicious. "Kid, since when were you so kind-hearted? Or has something abnormal happened?"
"It is not really anything abnormal. I am simply preparing to move the Space Item you are in. Didn't you say before that moving locations would affect the channel for absorbing energy from the void? My research into void knowledge has indeed confirmed that, so pause it for now," Richard explained.
